Distinguished participation of Andrology Barcelona urologists in the successful Third Edition of the Uro-Prosthetic Surgery Course

On Thursday, May 9th, the Gregorio Marañón University Hospital and the Hospital Clínic of Barcelona celebrated the eagerly anticipated third edition of the Uro-Prosthetic Surgery Course for Young Urologists. With attendance exceeding expectations, over 130 enthusiastic professionals registered, highlighting the growing interest and relevance of this field for the new generations of urologists.

The event was a testament to the medical community’s commitment to continuous education and knowledge exchange. One of the highlights was the participation of Dr. Josep Torremade, one of the directors of this course, whose experience and leadership significantly contributed to the initiative’s success.

Additionally, the event featured the prominent presence of Dr. Lluís Peri and Dr. Juan Manuel Corral, both urologists from Andrology Barcelona, ​​who shared their knowledge and experiences in specialized sessions. Dr. Corral participated in a session on testosterone and hypogonadism in patients treated for prostate cancer, providing valuable information on this crucial topic in current clinical practice.

On the other hand, Dr. Torremade played a key role as a moderator in a roundtable dedicated to prosthetic surgery in ambulatory major surgery, highlighting the importance of innovation and patient-centered care in this constantly evolving field.
