Dr Daniel Corominas is a specialist in radiodiagnostics and imaging of the genitourinary system, with a particular focus on advanced andrological ultrasound and the diagnosis of urological and vascular conditions.
He holds a degree in Medicine and Surgery from the Autonomous University of Barcelona and completed his MIR specialisation in radiodiagnostics at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, where he currently works as a senior registrar in the Genitourinary Radiology department.
He has undertaken advanced training in percutaneous and vascular intervention, including a fellowship with the Spanish Society of Vascular and Interventional Radiology (SERVEI).
Area of specialisation
At Andrología Barcelona, he specialises in ultrasound for andrological conditions, particularly in the investigation of:
- Peyronie’s disease
- Erectile dysfunction
- Testicular conditions
He also has extensive experience in the diagnostic imaging of renal tumours, including contrast-enhanced ultrasound, renal biopsy and image-guided ablation techniques. He combines his clinical work with teaching and research, participating in the training of residents and students at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and authoring various scientific publications in genitourinary radiology.
