Dr. Josep Torremadé participates in iMARS 2026 with live surgery in Florence

From 10 to 12 September 2026, iMARS 2026 – International Masterclass in Andrology and Reconstructive Surgery took place in Florence, an international meeting dedicated to andrology and reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Josep Torremadé, urologist and andrologist at Andrología Barcelona, was part of the scientific programme of this edition, participating in one of the live surgery sessions.

Participation in the scientific programme

Dr. Torremadé’s participation was part of the scientific programme of iMARS 2026, which included several live surgery sessions and the participation of international specialists in andrology and reconstructive surgery.

On 11 September, during Live Surgery Session 2, broadcast live from Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi, Dr. Torremadé participated as the surgeon in OR 1.

The scheduled procedure was an inflatable penile prosthesis and Wilson manoeuvre.

The session was moderated by Carlo Bettocchi, Gunter De Win and David Ralph.

Live surgery

The live surgery session provided an opportunity to demonstrate practical aspects of prosthetic and reconstructive surgery as part of a scientific programme focused on updating knowledge and sharing experience in the field of andrology.

Dr. Torremadé’s participation in this session reflects his ongoing work in the field of penile prosthetic and reconstructive surgery.

An international meeting in andrology and reconstructive surgery

iMARS 2026 brought together specialists from different countries in Florence to discuss current techniques in andrology and reconstructive surgery. The programme included live surgical sessions, lectures and other scientific activities focused on genital and reconstructive surgery.
