At Andrology Barcelona, we are honored to welcome Sofía Stembert Krad, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology student at Eckerd College (USA), who is joining us for a one-month internship through the EUROACE international program.
During her stay, Sofía will work alongside Verónica Vivero and our multidisciplinary team, gaining first-hand experience in the role of psychology in the diagnosis and treatment of male sexual health conditions.
Her internship will focus on common areas of sexual medicine, including premature ejaculation and erectile dysfunction, two of the most frequent reasons for consultation in clinical sexology. She will also learn how anxiety, stress, self-esteem and relationship issues can influence these conditions, and how psychologists, sexologists, urologists and andrologists work together to provide comprehensive, personalized care.
At Andrology Barcelona, we believe that sexual health requires a holistic approach, integrating both medical and psychological perspectives to improve patients’ well-being and quality of life.
