Dr. Josep Torremadé, urologist and andrologist at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona and Andrología Barcelona – TAUS Clinics, actively participated in the 22nd National and 19th Iberian Andrology Meeting (ASESA), held in Córdoba from October 23–25, 2025 at the Hotel Córdoba Center.
During the congress, Dr. Torremadé contributed to two key activities:
Live Surgery: 3-Component Penile Prosthesis Implant
He took part in Live Surgery 1.1, focused on the 3-component penile prosthesis implant, together with Dr. Pablo Campos (Hospital Universitario Reina Sofía, Córdoba). This session showcased the latest surgical techniques in prosthetic implantation.
Course: Prosthetic Surgery – Technical Update and Learning Process
He also participated in Course 2.2, alongside Dr. Pedro Vendeira (Hospital da Luz Arrábida, Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal), where the most recent advances in penile prosthesis surgery and the learning process to optimize outcomes were discussed.
