On September 26–27, 2025, Hospital da Luz Lisbon hosted a new edition of the Andrology Symposium, organized together with the Portuguese Society of Andrology, Sexual Medicine and Reproduction (SPA). The event brought together international specialists in urology and andrology to discuss the latest advances in andrological surgery, regenerative medicine, and the future challenges of andrology.
Dr. Josep Torremadé, andrologist and medical director of Andrología Barcelona, was one of the invited speakers at this prominent event, which included the second edition of the Andrological Surgery Workshop and the annual SPA Symposium.
Dr. Torremadé’s Participation
During the symposium, Dr. Torremadé took part in two highly relevant sessions:
- Future andrological treatments: Less is more?
A panel discussion focusing on cutting-edge treatments in andrology, where he shared his perspective as an ESSM speaker. - Live surgery with clinical cases presentation | Part 1
He served as a moderator, together with Dr. Renato Mota, during a live surgery led by Dr. Antonini on Peyronie’s disease correction and penile curvature with inflatable penile prosthesis (IPP).
These scientific exchange sessions allowed participants to address both technological innovation and the most advanced surgical techniques in daily clinical practice.
