Dr. Josep Torremadé participates in the EAU Congress 2026

Dr. Josep Torremadé, director of Andrology Barcelona – TAUS Clinics, is participating in the 41st Annual Congress of the European Association of Urology (EAU 2026), held in London from March 13–16.

The EAU Annual Congress is considered the most important urology congress in Europe and one of the most relevant worldwide, bringing together leading specialists to present the latest advances in urology, andrology and men’s health.

During the congress, Dr. Torremadé participated in a scientific session focused on male genital surgery, presenting the talk:

“Erectile prosthesis: Avoiding disaster”

This presentation was part of the session “5 top tips for genital surgery”, which focuses on sharing practical recommendations and clinical experience in advanced andrological surgery.

International research on penile prosthesis

Dr. Torremadé is also participating as an investigator in the international study:

“Predictors of Penile Prosthesis Length: Results from the PHOENIX Registry”

This research analyzes factors influencing penile prosthesis length using data from the PHOENIX Registry, an international collaborative project in prosthetic surgery.

In this registry, Dr. Torremadé contributes through his role as Head of the Andrology Section at Hospital Clínic de Barcelona, collaborating with leading international centers.
