From November 28 to 29, 2025, urologists and andrologists from Andrología Barcelona, Dr. Josep Torremadé and Dr. Maurizio D’Anna, participated in the International Masterclass in Andrology and Reconstructive Surgery (IMARS), held at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples, Italy. This international event gathered leading specialists to share knowledge and advances in reconstructive surgery and treatment of male sexual dysfunction.
During Live Surgery Session 6, Dr. Torremadé performed a live procedure on an inflatable penile prosthesis in a diabetic patient, demonstrating advanced surgical precision techniques. He also served as chair of Live Surgery Session 1, coordinating the session with other international experts.
Dr. D’Anna delivered the lecture “Update on Male Sexual Dysfunctions – Erectile Dysfunction”, discussing the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment of male sexual dysfunction. He also served as chair in multiple sessions, moderating discussions on innovative surgical and therapeutic techniques.
The event included other notable interventions, such as penile prosthesis placement post-RARP and in patients with Peyronie’s disease, reinforcing IMARS as a leading international reference for advanced training in andrology and reconstructive surgery.
