Doctors Josep Torremadé Barreda and Lluís Peri Cusí, specialists from Andrología Barcelona, recently took part in the “Curso Teórico-Práctico de Andrología, Neurourología y Cirugía Reconstructiva de Uretra” held at the Hospital Central Militar in Mexico City.
During this international meeting, Dr. Peri delivered an outstanding lecture on the surgical management of severe male urinary incontinence, sharing his experience and expertise with specialists from different countries.
Meanwhile, Dr. Torremadé took part in the penile prosthesis session with a presentation focused on step-by-step complications and how to prevent them, and also performed two live penile prosthesis surgeries:
- Live surgery (Operating Room 34): AMS 700 penile prosthesis implantation with Lt. Col. M.C. José de Jesús Oswaldo Islas García, Dr. Torremadé, and Dr. Gerardo Ortíz Lara.
- Live surgery (Operating Room 34): malleable penile prosthesis implantation with Lt. Col. M.C. José de Jesús Oswaldo Islas García, Dr. Torremadé, and Dr. Humberto Aguado López.
