On Saturday, October 4, Verónica Vivero Hernández, psychologist and sexologist at Andrología Barcelona, took part as a speaker in the 1st Physiotherapy in Andrology Conference, held at Vall d’Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.
The event, organized by the Official College of Physiotherapists of Catalonia (ColFiCat) and coordinated by Alfons Mascaró, board member of the College, brought together professionals from various fields —andrologists, urologists, physiotherapists, and psychosexologists— with the aim of sharing knowledge and experiences on the comprehensive management of male sexual dysfunctions.
During her presentation, Verónica Vivero Hernández delivered a lecture titled “Psychosexological approach to the main male sexual dysfunctions: erectile dysfunction and premature ejaculation”, in which she presented a cognitive-behavioral framework based on scientific evidence. Her talk emphasized the importance of an interdisciplinary approach, where psychological care and physiotherapy complement medical treatments to provide more effective and personalized solutions for patients.
