Meet the urologist
Dr. Josep Torremadé Barreda holds a degree in medicine from the University of Barcelona and is a specialist in Urology from the Hospital Universitari de Bellvitge. He is currently head of the Andrology Unit at the Hospital Clínic de Barcelona. His main areas of interest are erectile dysfunction, sexual medicine and urogenital reconstructive medicine, developing his activity in public and private healthcare. Fellowship of the European Board of Urology and the European Committee of Sexual Medicine, he has completed his training at the Puigvert Foundation, the Hospices Civil de Lyon and the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
He has a special interest in teaching and research and is a regular speaker and moderator at national and international congresses, editor of the International Journal of Andrology and director of the Course on Prosthetic Surgery for Erectile Dysfunction.
