Marta Garriga is a psychologist who graduated from the Universitat de Lleida, with a clinical mention, and specializes in clinical sexology and couples therapy. She holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Sexology and Couples Therapy from the Institut d’Estudis de la Sexualitat i la Parella and is currently completing the Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology at the Universidad Internacional de Valencia. She is a member of the Official College of Psychology of Catalonia, with registration number COPC 31156.
Her career combines psychological and sexological care with affective-sexual education and outreach. She has developed her experience supporting people with difficulties related to mental and sexual health, as well as leading workshops for adolescents to promote healthy behaviors and prevent risk behaviors.
She currently collaborates with the Institut d’Estudis de la Sexualitat i la Parella, where she provides support and therapy for people with mental and sexual health difficulties. She has also been part of CAT Barcelona, attending to the physical and emotional needs of residential and outpatient patients.
She is the author of La charla, a publication aimed at mothers and fathers that provides information and tools to support the sexuality of children and adolescents according to their stage of development.
